Cure Kids.

Today Room 10 participated in a Kelly sports event to support cure kids. Cure kids is a charity that fund a vital medical research. That means cure kids research to find cures for different types of diseases.
An example of the way they support children's health is raising money to find cures. The effect of their research is that everyone can live a healthy childhood. Today I participated by giving money to cure kids. That means I can help to try and find cures and we also played some games. An example of a game we played was noodle hockey there are two teams and in both of the team each player stands on a color dot and when the instructor calls out a color or even two that color runs to the side and gets a pool noodle so they can smack the ball to the goal. By supporting cure kids, I hope my impact is enough to help this charity.

Back to school.

Nau mai, hoki mai ki taku rangitaiki. Ko tenei te wahanga tuawha o te tau! kei te pehea to hararei ?
One thing I am really looking to forward to this term is school trips and dinan dance. My personal goal for my last term of 2017 is managing self. To fully enjoy these end of year opportunities, I will need to remember to respect the people I am with, And the environment around me.

Today Room 10 solved a level 4 algebra problem to calculate how much medicine would be used by a father and a daughter . On sunday both of them went to the pharmacy to get a medicine for their cough and each day the father drinks 50 mls the same concept goes with the daughter except she takes 15 mls a day. As a class we solved the problem after we turned it into a chart to show our learning.

Tia and Tom algebra.

Today Room 10 solved a level 4 algebra problem to calculate how much money would be spent and how much was earnt by two twins. On sunday Tom one of the twins started of with $20.00 and spent $2.00 each day. Tia the  other twin started of with $0.00 and earned $2.50 each day. The strategy I used to help me calculate this problem was a small and simple one I simply counted in twos and by looking at this chart you can see what day Tia overlapped her twin brother friday . We used a line chart to show our thinking at the end Tia had $12.50 and Tom had $12.
